Meet Our Founder: Carrie Hines
- Background: Carrie Hines, a local mixed media artist, holds a BS degree in Human Services and Family Sciences from the University of Delaware.
- Experience: With decades of experience working with young children, Carrie has taught at a university lab preschool, worked at a local Head Start center, and completed a practicum at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital.
- Passion: Carrie's passion for art and education is evident in every class she teaches, bringing a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to our studio.
Our philosophy
- Whole Child Philosophy: We believe in fostering social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in children.
- Encouragement and Relationship Building: We emphasize the importance of encouraging each other and building relationships through fun and engaging activities.
- Scaffolding Approach: We practice scaffolding, where the expert provides structure as the child develops new knowledge and skills, similar to coaching.

Starting June 17, Create and Paint Art Studio offers a variety of engaging and inspiring summer activities. Our small, home-based studio provides a personalized experience with limited class sizes. Each activity is designed to nurture creativity and artistic skills in a fun and supportive environment.
Key Details:
- Dates: Activities are scheduled over two consecutive weeks in June and two in July.
- Cost: Each activity is priced at $25.
- Class Size: Limited to five students per class to ensure individualized attention.
